Desroches

  Go Back

Map of the AmirantesDesroches is the largest island of the Amirantes and is widely covered with coconut tree plantations. Until recently, no records of Phelsuma existed, but now a population of Phelsuma sundbergi sundbergi seems to have established itself on the north eastern tip of the island, a case of anthropogenic dispersal.
